Tonight we finally tried the "Edible Dough" recipe that was included in John's sunday school paperwork. It was super easy, and John had a great time. I only let him eat about a handfull, though, and you'll see why...
Mix together:
1/3 cup butter, softened 1/4 t. salt
1/3 cup light corn syrup 1 pound powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla extract food coloring (optional)
Test your senses:
Touch: How does it feel to squeeze the dough?
Smell: What does the dough smell like?
Sight: What does the dough look like?
Taste: Do you like the taste?
Hearing: What sound does it make when you squeeze it?
This went along with Genesis 1,2 and Proverbs 20:12
