Beach with Grammy and Grampy

We all had a great time at the beach! The sand pit was a hit. The kids would get wet, then roll in the sand. They resembled cinnamon-sugar toast. Grammy introduced the licorice - beach connection!

Today we chilled out at our community beach -- a cool, but sunny day. And yes, Sarah walked in the water with her shoes on.... just like last year! John enjoyed burying "treasures" for Sarah to find. Dusty chomped on some sticks... And, of course, Sarah blessed us with a funny face...(double click on photo for full effect!)

What an absolutely fabulous day!

We walked down to our neighborhood beach and played in the sand. They had a blast! As I was fiddling with the camera, Sarah beelines toward the water and walks right in! She was quacking like a duck at the passing geese. She kept asking, "Where did they go?", in baby language.
