After 4 days of kiddie sickness, I am so thankful that we are on the mend. John ended up catching the latest headache virus going around. We have been cooped up too long!
Sarah has been trying to gain some independence this week. Notice her clothes. She wanted to wear a red tee shirt over a pink jumper, with her fuzzy white slippers. Earlier today she wanted to wear John's jacket and a diaper only.
Her newest phrase is "a me", which after some detective work, was found to mean "help me". She demands this repeatedly, currently, when trying to open the refrigerator, her sippy cup, or the gate to the stairs.
I have enjoyed reading the post and comments at Making Home: Quick Query #14: Should We Treat Our Daughters Differently? . Although Sarah is only 18 months, her strong personality demands extra credit reading on my part...
