I cannot believe Sarah. She climbed the monkey bars above at 23 months with great success. I remember John tried those very bars when he was 3. He fell and cut his head...lots of blood.
John is fairly coordinated, just timid. I have been encouraging John to try the rock wall at our gym since he turned 4 (about a year now). Well about a month ago he woke up and said that he wanted to try it.
The first time we got to the wall, he only wanted to watch. The second time, about a week later, he put the helmet and harnesses on....and only wanted to watch. We haven't been back yet...
Maybe he will step onto the padded floor on the third go round...
