Well, today has been declared an official "sick day", since John had an upset tummy this morning. After rearranging our plans of going to the gym and home group, we made a list of things we could do at home.
On the top of the list was to make and play with play-dough. All I had was whole wheat flour, so that's what we used. John declared his space a construction zone, since he was fixing the uneven sidewalks (where does he get this from?). Sarah squished the dough in her hands for about 5 minutes and then yelled, "mess!" She does not like to get her hands messy. After cleaning up, Sarah tended to her baby and ate raisins...
Later, taking advantage of Sarah's nap, I hopped on the stairmaster, while John created a flying car with his K'nex (which was second on his list.)
